Julie French Textile Art
Julie works with textiles using the sewing machine as a tool for continuous line drawing. Her work has been likened to ink illustration, exploring movement and texture with often unpredictable results.

Don't forget - this weekend (21st - 24th November) plays host to the Brighton Design and Craft Fair, MADE13. Held in the beautiful CORN EXCHANGE, by the Royal Pavilion.
Showcasing over 120 innovative and original makers and designers who are showing and selling their work directly to the public. Beautiful and unique jewellery, textiles, glass, ceramics, furniture and much more across all prices brackets, means the fair provides something for everyone's taste and budget. The Dome café provides a space to take refreshment and relax.

Quick review of A&M 2012
Wow, what a day! We had an amazing turnout at Artists & Makers 2012, with beautiful and enchanting stalls, a cafe full of delicious cakes and pastries, a tableful of kids turning out their own Christmas decorations and crowds of visitors happily doing Christmas shopping, plus a bit for themselves. Our vintage dressing up photo booth did a roaring trade and it was lovely to have Angels with Attitude come and provide some seasonal music again.
Massive thank you to all our volunteers, everyone who helped out with leafleting, on the door, in the cafe, making cakes and in many other ways. Thank you to all our stallholders who make this such a fabulous event each year, and thanks to all our visitors and shoppers for helping us raise much needed funds to support creativity at Western Road School.
