We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to all volunteers who helped out at Artists and Makers 2013 and made it such a great event.
So, to all you lovely people who helped to deliver leaflets, worked on the door, helped out in the cafe, helped in the children's creative area, baked delicious cakes or helped to clear up after the event - thank you!!
Thanks also to all visitors and shoppers who came along today. Your kindness has helped to raise funds to support creativity at Western Road School, and in 2013 Artists and Makers are pleased to contribute to the very worthy playground appeal.

Artists and Makers 2013
What a wonderful day! We had a great turnout at Artists and Makers 2013 and there was a fantastic atmosphere at all of the amazing stalls, cafe and children's creative area. We hope that you enjoyed doing some of your Christmas shopping with us, and managed to find a few items for yourself too.
Here are a few pictures showing some of many items on sale. We're only sorry we can't show images of all of the beautiful stalls.
Thank-you to all of the talented stallholders for putting together such fabulous displays yet again. We hope to see you all again next year.

Julie French Textile Art
Julie works with textiles using the sewing machine as a tool for continuous line drawing. Her work has been likened to ink illustration, exploring movement and texture with often unpredictable results.
